Bernie Williams and his All-Star Band

When he was 16, Williams fell in love with baseball and music. His merchant marine father brought him a Spanish guitar and that did it.

The Journey Within

Williams’ 2003 major label debut was a Latin Jazz album. The album featured David Benoit, Rubén Blades and Gilberto Santa Rosa.

Moving Forward

Williams’ 2009 album featured Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, Jon Secada and David Koz. It was nominated for a Latin Grammy for “Best Instrumental Album.”

Manhattan School of Music

Williams is a classically trained guitarist. After his baseball career, he earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the Manhattan School of Music.


Bernie Williams Yankee All-Star

Williams was a New York Yankees center fielder from 1991 to 2006.

He played in four Yankees World Series, was a five-time MLB All-Star and won four Golden Glove Awards.
