Bronx Week is Back!

Bronx Week 2021 is in person and virtual for nine days, Saturday, May 8-16, 2021.

Bronx Week is a spring celebration of the New York City borough (county) that is one of the forges of Latin culture.

May 8 ~ Bronx Fathers Taking Action is a soccer skills and drills event for fathers and their children with the South Bronx United Soccer Club. southbronxunited.org

May 8 ~ Bronx Week Health Fair brings mobile units to The Bronx for COVID-19 services.

May 10 ~ A Veteran’s Appreciation Event honors those who serve with the Bronx Borough President’s Veteran’s Affairs. bronxboropres.nyc

May 11 ~ Business Luncheon recognizes ten Bronx businesses with the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation. esd.ny.gov

May 13 ~ COVID Day of Remembrance delivers COVID-19 information in memory of all those we have lost.

May 14 ~ Bankers Breakfast brings Bronx financial institutions to discuss the Bronx economy with the Business Initiatives Corporation of New York. bicofny.org

May 15 ~ Walk of Fame Induction unveils street signs on Grand Concourse that honor the 2021 Bronx Walk of Fame honorees: Salvatore Abbatiello, CEO of Fever Records; Joe Conzo, Jr. the photographer of hip-hop and salsa (his dad was one of Tito Puente’s best buddies); and Kid Capri the Grammy winning DJ and producer.

May 15 ~ Grand Finale Concert is a drive-in concert and awards presentation that will be streamed through FM-radio.

May 16 ~ The Spirit of The Bronx Parade is a virtual celebration of past parades.
