Christie’s Fall 2017 Latin American Art auction

Christie’s Latin American Art auctions in May and November are pillars of New York City’s Latin American art scene.


Christie’s Latin American Art auction November 2017

Almost 200 works of Latin American art are for sale. They range from 18th-century colonial painting through modern and contemporary art.

Featured collections in the sale include:

  • CUBA MODERNA: Masterworks from a Private Collection
  • The Collection of Estela and Joaquín Shapiro
  • The Collection of Clara Diament Sujo
  • The Tuttleman Collection
  • The Lance Aaron Family Collection
  • Property from the Collection of Reyna Henaine

The auction goes online on Monday, November 13.

The auction exhibition opens at Christie’s showroom in Rockefeller Center in Midtown, Manhattan on Saturday, November 18 from 10 am – 5 pm.

The auction of Lots 1 – 72 is Tuesday, November 21 at 6 pm.
The auction of lots 75 – 194 is Wednesday, November 22 at 11 am.

The auction is led by Chilean hyperrealist Claudio Bravo’s Lux perpetua (3 Reds and Green), 1999.
