The New York Colombian Parade (Desfile Colombiano) is New York City’s big celebration of Colombian culture. Over 45,000 people enjoy the annual event on a Sunday around Colombian Independence Day, July 20.

Colombian Parade Gala
Friday, July 26, 2019 ~ The Colombian Parade Gala is at Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens from 6 to 11pm.
The Gala features an open bar with cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to a live orchestra. Entertainment includes Alberto Aguilar “El Condor del Vallenato.”

Saturday, July 27, 2019 ~ Barranquilla Carnival comes to Times Square at 5:30pm.
Colombian Parade
The New York Colombian Parade marches on Northern Blvd from 69th St to 86th St in Jackson Heights, Queens on Sunday, July 29, 2019 from 12pm – 3pm. FREE
The Parade features Colombian folkloric dancers from the Tri-State area. Invited guests include AGFA, the Association of Folkloric Groups from Colombia’s Atlántico department (state), and Carnaval de la 44 from Barranquilla, Colombia.
The Parade includes Yipaos del Eje Cafetero, a folkloric jeep parade with farming women (Chapoleras) and mule drivers (Arrieros) from Colombia’s coffee-growing region.
Pasión Colombia After Party Street Fair
Cafeteros, the party continues with food and entertainment including twenty dancers from Carnaval de Barranquilla, Emilia Pederson, LOREN, DJ Daniel and Eddy Machado.
