February 2020

February is Black History Month. The Dominican Republic celebrates Carnival and independence all month long.

Presidents Day Weekend is the long weekend. Valentines Day gets hearts beating fast.

The Film Comment Selects film festival is at Film at Lincoln Center. The Westminster Dog Show brings Latin breeds to New York. The ADAA Art Show kicks off the Armory Week art fairs.

NYCFC and the Red Bulls start the Major League Soccer season.

Carnival ends with Mardi Gras, Ash Wednesday and Lent. Dominican New Yorkers celebrate Dominican Independence Day.
