The National Dominican Day Parade is America’s biggest Dominican celebration. On the second Sunday in August, we celebrate the culture, heritage and contributions of Dominican communities in the United States and around the world.
This is more than a parade. The National Dominican Day Parade respects our ancestors, teaches our children their proud cultural heritage, and sponsors college and post-graduate work for promising students of Dominican descent. We also connect with political leaders who support New York City’s Dominican community.
Together, we are creating a promising future as Dominican New Yorkers and Dominican Americans. ¡Quisqueya!
