The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is America’s largest cultural celebration. ¡WEPA!
We march to show how proud we are of our people and our culture, support scholarships for exceptional students of Puerto Rican descent, and share our culture with our children.
63rd National Puerto Rican Day Parade 2020
Instead of marching up Fifth Avenue on Sunday, June 14, 2020, the 2020 National Puerto Rican Day Parade moves the celebration to Channel 7 in New York. The show is hosted by anchors Joe Torres, David Novarro and Sunny Hostin (The View).
The show features Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), Anthony Ramos (In the Heights movie), Ariana DeBose (new West Side Story movie). Special guests include Rosie Perez, Esai Morales, Gilberto Santa Rosa, La India, Victor Manuelle, Ivonne Coll, Pedro Capo and Kany García.
The show features a special performance of Bomba, the traditional dance of Puerto Rico. This year’s one hundred scholarship winners will be announced too.
The 2019 Parade ran from 11am – 5pm. It was broadcast live on ABC 7 and streamed online at www.abc7ny.com from 12pm to 4pm.
We don’t just have a Parade, we have a whole series of events that bring our community together.
