Rivalries

The Boston Red Sox are the Yankees’ arch rivals. The rivalry has been going on for over 100 years.

There is also a cross-town rivalry, the Subway Series with the NY Mets.

Bernie Williams was a Beloved Yankee

We love Bernie Williams because he was a good player and a good man. He is one of the greatest switch-hitters in the team’s history. Williams is also a very good jazz musician who was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2009.

Williams is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. ¡WEPA!
