SummerStage 2022 Brings Latin Culture to NYC Parks

SummerStage NYC 2022 returns with almost 90 shows in Central Park and 12 community parks across all of New York City from to Sat, Jun 11 to Thu, Sep 22, 2022. summerstage.org

This season presents established and emerging artists in Salsa, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rock, Reggae, Reggaeton, Afrobeat, Soul, Pop, Global, Contemporary Dance and more.

There are a few benefit concerts, but most are free. Some shows are also live streamed from SummerStageAnywhere.org

The Festival opens Sat, June 11 with Jazz legend Herbie Hancock and Keyon Harrold.

SummerStage is a great place to discover new artists because the curation is very good. Featured artists include:

  • MC Solaar is one of the best French rappers. 🇸🇳🇹🇩🇫🇷
  • Carla Morrison is a Latin Grammy winner and Grammy nominee Mexican Pop singer. 🇲🇽
  • Ney Matogrosso is one of the best Brazilian singers. 🇧🇷

SummerStage 2022 Latin Schedule

SummerStage represents NYC, so it is diverse like we are. This is the Latin part of the season. SummerStage tends to program more Latin artists in August.
