The Passover and Holy Week/Easter, Jewish and Christian spring holidays are this week. That means it’s Spring in the north and we are being released from the cold grip of Winter.

[NOTE: We don’t support any religion, but learn from all traditions.] It’s time to grow.

Wednesday, April 5, 2023

Passover 2023, the Jewish festival of release from slavery, is from sundown Wednesday, April 5-13, 2023. There is a message in this for all peoples, if you open your heart to it. ✡️

Dance Argentine tango nuevo with younger dancers at the Tango Cafe milonga; at You Should Be Dancing in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC; on Wednesdays from 8-12pm. From $18. 🇦🇷 🇺🇾

Thursday, April 6, 2023

Thursday is New York’s main art exhibition opening night. It’s really fun to walk around the Chelsea, NYC art district from 6-8pm. The art is great and the people watching is great.

Dance traditional Argentine Tango at Tango La Nacional; at La Nacional in Chelsea, NYC; Thursdays from 8pm – 2am. Performances around 11pm. $25. 🇦🇷

Celebrate Maundy Thursday, the washing of the feet, and the Last Supper. Those who live in sandals (chanclas), know how important it is to wash your feet. In this case, it’s a Palestinian tradition that showed up in the Spanish church. The ritual invites us to be humble, forgiving, and share in community. Much of the world is poor, but it is not the poor’s fault. Most Americans have no idea how fortunate we are. ✝️

Friday, April 7, 2023
