“Culture is Key” is the theme of the 2018 parade. The truth is that almost all American popular culture has African – American roots.
“Culture is Key”
This year’s parade honors individuals and organizations in dance, theater, music, movies, film, television, broadcasting, literature, fashion, technology, sports and more. Never thought about the technology angle, but that has certainly become part of our culture.
The Mighty Marching Panthers from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia will lead the Parade.
