Alexis Portilla is a Mexican born artist who lives and works in New York City. He has a studio in Long Island City.

Portilla got his MFA at Columbia University in 1990. He earned a Bachelors in Fine Art at Pratt Institute in 1987.

His work is popular with corporate clients including Warner Brothers Records, Pepsi Co. and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Portilla is also in collections at The New York Public Library, Penn State University and The Harvard Club.
