New York Latin Culture Awards

New York Latin Culture Awards
New York Latin Culture announced the 1st Annual New York Latin Culture Award honorees at a simple ceremony January 24, 2013 at Tous, the Spanish jewelry boutique in SoHo. The Awards recognize New York government, education and culture leaders for their contributions to Latin culture in New York City in the previous year.

The New York Latin Culture Award honorees are selected by the New York Latin Culture editors.

“New York City is a special place in the world because it gives everyone a chance to prove themselves. It does not matter whether you are big or small. What matters is what you have to give.” said Ximena Ojeda, New York Latin Culture Director. “The New York Latin Culture Award honorees and nominees give more than most. That is why we honor them today.”
