The Festival is fun for all ages. It connects writers, illustrators and independent publishers with thousands of collectors, blerds and nerds. (A “blerd” is a Black nerd.)

Wow!

You’re encouraged to cosplay as your favorite Black superhero. If you do, be sure to sign-up for the annual cosplay show.

If you’re following the latest decluttering trend, donate your Black comix and Black Speculative Arts( Black Futurism) materials to the Schomburg’s collection.

This year’s Festival art was created by Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez, writer & creator of the first Puerto Rican superhero La Borinquena.
