The festival honors San Juan de Dios, the patron saint of firework makers. It’s ten days of showing off by families who have been making fireworks for generations.
Brimstone & Glory Film Festivals
Brimstone & Glory opened in New York City at the 2017 Margaret Mead Film Festival at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
The film won “Best Documentary Feature” at the SF Film Festival. It was an official selection at the True/False Film Fest and the Hotdocs film festival.
