Christie’s New York auction of Old Master & British Drawings is a pillar of New York’s Masters Week in the last week of January. Most of the Old Masters were Italian.

New York auctions are accompanied by free museum-quality exhibitions. They are a great education in art history and the art market.


Christie’s Old Master & British Drawings auction (January 2018)

The auction is selling 94 lots of Old Masters and British drawings.

The auction exhibition is Friday – Monday, January 26 – 29, 2018 from 10 am – 5 pm (opens at 1 pm on Sunday).

The auction is Tuesday, January 30 at 10 am.
