Discover an interesting blending of early Renaissance themes and video game imagery in the exhibition of Mexican – American artist Dan Hernandez ‘Game Over’ at Kim Foster Gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan.

It’s surprising to see contemporary art that mirrors the Early Renaissance paintings of Giotti. Some of Hernandez’ work recalls Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights (ca 1500).

The Pit is a homage to Philip Guston’s painting of the same name.
