About Displaced but not Defeated

“Displaced but not Defeated” is María Ceballos Paz’ personal story about being displaced by Colombia’s civil war. Paz was mentored by Susan Hoenig, one of Hollywood’s top TV producers. Susan has produced shows for Discovery, National Geographic, Fox, ABC, NBC and CBS. She received an Emmy nomination for Undercover Boss.

The background is Colombia’s 50-year civil war between the government, crime syndicates, left-wing guerrillas, and paramilitaries. Colombia is close to ending its civil war, but there are now more displaced people around the world than ever before. This is one of their stories.

“Displaced but not Defeated” airs in NYC on channel THIRTEEN on February 14, 2016 at 7:30pm.

In Spanish with English subtitles.
