Drom Online World Fest Presents Great World Music

Drom Online World Fest 2021 (Drom)

Drom Online World Fest 2021 (Drom)

Drom Online World Fest 2021 is at dromnyc.com from Friday, March 26-31, 2021. It’s free, but please support the club and the musicians by donating to the event’s GoFundMe.com campaign.

Drom has survived our crazy pandemic year. It’s one of New York City’s unique underground night clubs and one of the few with a world music focus. Drom made it this far, but if we want to keep live music culture alive in New York City, we need to support it.

We support Drom. Please give what you can. GoFundMe.com

Drom Online World Fest 2021 Editor’s Picks

Ismael Fernández & Sonia Olla 🇪🇸 are among New York City’s flamenco elite. Olla has choreographed for Madonna.

Al Di Meola 🇮🇹 is a famous jazz guitarist. He’s Berklee College of Music and got his start with Chick Corea’s jazz fusion band Return to Forever.

Slavic Soul Party 🇺🇸 has been playing around New York City for a long time.

Arturo O’Farrill & the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra 🇨🇺 wins Grammys almost every year. They won the Best Latin Jazz Album Grammy again this year.

The New York Gypsy All Stars 🇺🇸 are a lot of fun. They make you want more.

Stephane Wrembel 🇫🇷 plays jazz manouche in the style of Django Reinhardt.

Gloria Gaynor 🇺🇸 closes the festival. Sing along with us, “I Will Survive.”

We don’t know the other artists, but that’s all the more reason to watch the festival. Ilhan and Dede are smart curators. When NYC opens back up, you can come back to Drom and enjoy your favorite new bands live in a super cool venue.
