Ettore Sottsass (1917-2007) was an Italian architect and designer. Design Radical at the Met Brauer in the Upper East Side, July 21 – October 8, 2017, is a survey of his work and inspirations.

Sottsass is best known for his work at Olivetti, the Italian business machine company, but he also created interesting consumer objects. There seems to be a strong Futurist influence in Sottsass’ work.
