Fall for Dance 2023 presents five programs with three dance companies each; to New York City Center in Midtown, Manhattan; between September 27 and October 8, 2023 at 8pm. $20+fees. 🇺🇸 🇧🇷 🇫🇷 🇮🇳 🇲🇽 🇪🇸
Performing artists are giving pre-show dance lessons on Thursday, September 28; Saturday, September 30; Wednesday, October 4; and Sunday, October 8 (2pm); at 7pm. These are really fun.
Fall For Dance 2023 Program Highlights
This season presents five programs with three dance companies in each program.
Program 1
New Yorker Caleb Teicher dancing to “Rhapsody in Blue,” played by Conrad Tao. Teicher does a lot of tap dance, and is a regular collaborator with Tao. Ballet BC and Gibney Company also perform.
Wednesday-Thursday, September 27-28, 2023 at 8pm. There is a pre-show Opening Night Party on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 7pm.
Program 2
French contemporary dance company Côté Danse, Spanish flamenco by Sergio Bernal Dance Company, and Sara Mearns & Davóne Tines perform.

Program 3
Houston Ballet, Jam On the Groove 3 for 30, and Indigenous Hawaiian all-male hula group Kaleoolakaikahikinaokalā perform.
“Jam On the Groove 3 for 30” is a World Premiere New York City Center commission.

Limón Dance Company, Birmingham Royal Ballet, and Ephrat Asherie & Michelle Dorrance perform.
Limón Dance Company is the legacy of Mexican modern dance pioneer José Limón. limon.nyc 🇲🇽
Ephrat Asherie & Michelle Dorrance is a great pairing. Ephrat Asherie is an African American and Latin street dance company. Michelle Dorrance is one of NYC’s great tap dancers. They are performing a World Premiere New York City Center commission.
