Fall in Love with New York City

Fall is American English for Autumn, the season that transitions from summer to winter.

The Fall months in the northern hemisphere are September, October, November.

I once thought it would be cool to create an endless Summer by heading South in November and returning North in May. After all you can travel light without winter clothes. After a while though, it feels like something isn’t right.

The most common form in the universe is the wave form. It’s in light, water, sound, living things and more. The wave form tracks the cyclic nature of life – up and down and up and down and up…

It’s comforting to follow the wave of summer and fall.

Fall Reminds us that Life is Ephemeral

A couple years ago, I didn’t know what “ephemeral” meant. It means that nothing lasts forever.

Fall reminds us that life is ephemeral, but just like the cycle of the seasons, one door closes and another opens.

I love the colorful rain of leaves as you drive lonely roads in the Northeast, and the death rattle of those still clinging to a branch, jealous of their friends who have learned to fly.
