A couple years ago, I didn’t know what “ephemeral” meant. It means that nothing lasts forever.
Fall reminds us that life is ephemeral, but just like the cycle of the seasons, one door closes and another opens.
I love the colorful rain of leaves as you drive lonely roads in the Northeast, and the death rattle of those still clinging to a branch, jealous of their friends who have learned to fly.
