Spring Break is a curator’s art fair. It turns unused office space around Manhattan into an art show. Each curator gets a room. Some get a wall. As you walk through, one room will look more chaotic than a teenager’s bedroom, and the next will be brilliant.
The experience is a bit like going down the rabbit hole. Remember when we did that? There is one selfie spot after another. The never-ending surprises make the show a great date.
The show is usually in spring, but Armory Week moved to September for the pandemic. The whole thing is produced by Ambre Kelly and Andrew Gori. They are sort of the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter. Just brilliant!
