Jazz Goes Hollywood: Dietz & Schwartz

Jazz Goes Hollywood: Dietz & Schwartz is a concert of classic Hollywood songs by composer Arthur Schwartz and lyricist Howard Dietz. The show is part of Jazz in July at the 92nd Street Y on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 8pm. The evening features Bill Charlap, Renee Rosnes, and Sandy Stewart.

The classic Hollywood hits you will hear include “You and the Night and the Music,” “Dancing in the Dark,” “That’s Entertainment,” “Something to Remember You By,” “Alone Together,” “By Myself,” “A Gal in Calico.”

The evenings line up includes family members Bill Charlap on piano, Renee Rosnes on piano, and Sandy Stewart on vocals. Ken Peplowski joins on clarinet, Gene Bertoncini on guitar, and Jon Gordon on alto sax. The rhythm section is Sean Smith on bass and Lewis Nash on drums.
