Argentines Leandro and Laila have been dancing together since 1999. They have been part of many important Tango shows. The first was Miguel Zotto’s Tango X2, the show that made Tango cool again for the younger generation in Argentina. They have also performed in Juan Carlos Copes’ Copes Tango Copes, Mora Godoy’s Tanguera and many other spectacles.
Leandro and Laila are judges in the Tango Buenos Aires Festival & Dance World Cup (El Mundial de Tango) in Buenos Aires.
They are also the founders and artistic directors of the Tango Con Las Estrellas Festival (Tango with the Stars Festival) in Siena, Italy in November.
The world-class Argentine Tango dancers are finally coming back out into the world after spending the holidays at home. Leandro and Laila offer a quality of dancing that we rarely have in New York since Tango Argentino and Forever Tango closed on Broadway. Even if you dance, go see them.
