About the Theater


The Theater was founded in 1985.

Today it functions as a teaching theater by giving thousands of tickets to New York City’s underserved communities.

Director’s Lab supports the development of new and emerging artists.

Open Stages is an arts-in-education program at New York City public schools.

LCT3 produces new playwrights, directors, and designers in the Claire Tow Theater.
