An exhibition of work by Italian – American abstract artist Mara de Luca Talisman is at TOTAH in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Wednesday – Sunday, April 26 – June 10, 2018.


Mara de Luca

Mara de Luca is an Italian – American artist. She examines the aesthetics of emotion.

Born in 1973, De Luca did her BFA at Columbia University in New York and her MFA at CalArts in Los Angeles.

Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego.

De Luca’s work is in international collections such as the Buck Collection at UC Irvine; Alexander Plaza in Berlin, Germany; New York Medical College, New York; and the University of Oslo, Norway.

Mara de Luca Talisman is at TOTAH in Manhattan’s Lower East Side Wednesday – Sunday, April 26 – June 10.

This is the artist’s first solo exhibition in New York.

Opening Reception

The exhibition opens with a reception on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm.
