March for Our Lives NYC

March for Our Lives

March for Our Lives

The fear and weakness of our government leaders leaves us no choice, but to March for Our Lives.

It’s March 24 and we have had 17 school shootings since the start of the year.

Our kids have to go to school by law, but they are getting killed there. What’s wrong with this picture? Must go to school – May get shot.

What’s more important? The constitutional right to play with guns or the lives of our children in school?

Never Again ~ Nunca Más

In Spanish, Never Again is “Nunca Más.” Nunca Más was the rallying cry for the National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons in Argentina. That was about the Dirty War in Argentina (1976 – 1983) when the military dictatorship started killing or “disappearing” its own people.

How could this be happening in the United States? Our leaders are cowards. It’s time to elect new leaders and break the NRA’s stranglehold on the necks of our kids.

Enough already. ¡ Basta Ya ! (Stop now!)

Wait There’s More to Do

Complaining is not enough. We have to maintain pressure our politicians to enter recovery from their addiction to NRA money.

We have the power of the ballot box, but only if we use it.

Speak out to your elected representatives

This week is a congressional State Work Period when congressional representatives return to their home regions to connect with the people they represent at Town Hall meetings.

Give them hell! Be respectful and stay out of trouble, but we must put pressure, a lot of pressure, on our elected representatives.

They are addicted to NRA money. Intervention is not fun, but it is necessary to make a change.

Find a Town Hall in Your Region

Organize for a Long Fight

If we march and then forget about it, we lost.

The NRA has corrupted our government. Nobody can save us, but ourselves.

It’s time to be American, to stand up for what is right, and keep the pressure on in a non-violent way until the government does what is right.

One of the ways to do this is to run for office. We need lots of young people, especially young women of color to enter the government now.

Protect Kids, Not Guns!
