Elmhurst, Queens is a residential neighborhood that is mostly Hispanic and Asian. Roosevelt Avenue on the northern border with Jackson Heights, and Junction Blvd on the eastern border with Corona are very Hispanic.

Terraza 7 is a unique, Colombian-owned jazz bar. It’s one of the top jazz bars in Queens. Many NYC Latin jazz musicians play there.

Sabor Latino is an Ecuadorian-owned restaurant and nightclub with dancing. Booking both local bands and some big stars, it is one of the best places in New York City to dance cumbia and vallenato.

Elmhurst has the second biggest Chinatown in Queens.
