Patrick Demarchelier
Patrick Demarchelier is a world-renowned French fashion photographer. He was born in Le Havre, France in 1943, and followed a girlfriend to New York City in 1975.
Demarchelier is one of the elite global photographers who has shot covers for the most famous fashion and lifestyle magazines, and campaigns for the world’s leading fashion brands.
He is most associated with Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar where he was the lead photographer for over a decade.
In 2007, Demarchelier was awarded the French L’ordre des Artes et des Lettres (Order of Arts and Literature).
