Pedro Giraudo is a New York-based Argentine tango jazz bassist, composer, and leader originally from Córdoba, Argentina.

Many people play tango, but Giraudo is one of the New York musicians who really gets it. He can break down the music for tango movement. New York tango dancers love it.

Pedro graduated from Manhattan School of Music. He was a jazz cat whose turn towards tango, “Vigor Tanguero,” won the “Best Tango Album” Latin Grammy.

Giraudo works in a variety of formats including a tango ensemble and jazz big band and. He works both as a leader and a sideman.

He has music directed several tango shows in New York. Giraudo’s played on Rubén Blades “Tangos” (2014) which won “Best Tango Album” and “Best Latin Pop” Grammys.
