Frida Kahlo
“Niña con Collar” (1929). Estimate $1,500,000 – $2,000,000.
Frida Kahlo (Coyoacán, Mexico, 1907-1954) is the most famous Mexican artist. She has become a global pop icon of art, womanhood, and a multicultural identity. Today Frida’s reputation exceeds that of her husband Diego Rivera.
“Niña con Collar” (Girl with Necklace) was given by Diego to an assistant of Frida in the time when the couple was in New York. The aging assistant kept the painting in the bedroom of her California home until now.

“Paisaje Cerce de Toledo” (1913). Estimate $1,200,000 – $1,600,000.
Diego Rivera (Guanajuato, Mexico, 1886-1957) was a Mexican painter and muralist. He was the most famous Mexican artist of his day.
