The Armory Show is one of NYC’s major contemporary art fairs. it started in 1994. The name is a reference to the New York Armory Show of 1913 which introduced Modern Art to American audiences.

Armory Week is a cluster of contemporary art fairs at the same time as the Armory Show.

Platform Section

The Platform Section features large-scale installations and site-specific works on the theme “Monumental Change.” It is curated by Tobias Ostrander.
