The 19th Tribeca Film Festival is Wednesday, April 15-26, 2020.
This year’s theme is the power of change through art, politics and community. The Festival is partnering with Democracy Works and Civic Alliance to build a future where everyone can vote, volunteer and take action to shape our country.
The Festival also expands this year across the Hudson River to Hoboken, New Jersey, “The Mile Square City.” Downtown Hoboken along the waterfront has this great old-timey vibe to it. It’s a short ferry or train ride from Manhattan.

Jimmy Carter Rock & Roll President
Wednesday, April 15, 2020 ~ The 19th Tribeca Film Festival opens with a red carpet screening of May Wharton’s documentary “Jimmy Carter Rock & Roll President” at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
It’s about how Jimmy Carter used popular music in his campaign for president. The director sees music as something that can bring us back together as a nation.
The screening will be followed with performances by country music star Willie Nelson, Late Show with David Letterman Music Director Paul Shaffer and others.

Single event tickets go on sale on March 17. Screenings start at $12.
