UEFA Euro 2016

UEFA Euro 2016 is the quadrennial UEFA European Championship of soccer. The champion will represent Europe in the 2017 FIFA Federations Cup in Russia. That is the warmup to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The tournament is being hosted in France from June 10 – July 10, 2016. It is the first tournament in the expanded 24-team format.

Spain are defending champions. Sports writers are predicting a France vs Spain final with France winning it all.

The Group Stage is Friday June 10 – Wednesday, June 2.

The top two teams of each group, and the four best third-place teams advance to the Quarter-Finals. Latin teams are bold.
