The Veterans Day Parade honors those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. The Parade celebrates peace.
Many Latins serve. All who serve deserve our respect and support.
Veterans Day Parade 2019
New York City’s Veterans Day Parade marches up Fifth Avenue from 26th St to 46th St on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 12pm to around 3:30pm (rain or shine). FREE
Red carpet performances are at the beginning of the parade near 26th St. There is no seating for the general public.

This year’s featured branch is the United States Marine Corps, although Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard will be present.
The Parade expects over 300 marching groups, with 20-30,000 participants, and hundreds of thousands of spectators.
Opening Ceremony
The traditional ceremony starts at the Eternal Light Flagstaff in Madison Square Park at 11am.
There will be a moment of silence at 11:11am to commemorate the end of World War 1 at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. It was supposed to be the war to end all wars. When will we ever learn?
The ceremony ends at 12pm.
The Veterans Day Centennial
This year New York City’s Veterans Day Parade celebrates the 100th anniversary of Veterans Day.
World War I ended with the signing of the Armistice at 11am on November 11, 1918. The first Veterans Day commemorations began on the first anniversary of Armistice Day in 1919. New York City had its first Veterans Day Parade on Fifth Avenue.
