Winter JazzFest

Winter JazzFest is an annual January music festival where a few established artists and many up-and-comers perform for booking agents in the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) and the general public.

Put together by the team at Le Poisson Rouge, Winter JazzFest has grown into from a one-night, one-venue program into seven days of hot music for an estimated 10,000 Jazz lovers.

Buika is the Spanish Queen of Flamenco Soul

Camila Meza & The Nectar Orchestra

Meza is Chilean.

Don Byron / Aruán Ortiz Duo

Ortiz is Cuban.

Esperanza Spalding

Spalding is African-American – Native American – Hispanic – Welsh. She has done a lot of work with Brazilian music because she feels the musicality of the language.
