The 40th 116th Street Festival is a street fair with 20 blocks of Puerto Rican and Hispanic music, art, and food with three main stages of family entertainment; on 116th St between Lexington and Second Avenue, and on Third Avenue between 122nd St and 112th St, in East Harlem “El Barrio;” on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10am to 5pm. FREE. 🇵🇷
Tito Puente Jr, Frankie Negron, and Luis Damon perform for a PIX11 live broadcast on the 122nd St Stage between 2-4pm. Radio personality Leñ Boogs hosts the Third Avenue Stage (at 106th St). De la Ghetto and Brenda K. Starr perform on the 112th St Stage. Judy Torres, Gucci (2 Without Hats), DJ Prostyle, DJ Lucho, DJ Victor Vargas, and Angel DeLeon also perform.
39th 116th Street Festival 2024
The 39th 116th Street Festival 2024 plants the beautiful flag with a Puerto Rican street party in “El Barrio” East Harlem on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10am – 5pm. FREE. 🇵🇷
The Festival features three stages with live performances, artisanal crafts and home food. Lisette Melendez, the Puerto Rican freestyle and salsa legend headlines.
116th Street Festival
The Festival started as “Abrazo Fraternal” in 1985. The Caribbean has a long tradition of these community social groups.
Today over 500,000 guests fill several blocks of “El Barrio.”
