Americas Society Produces Excellent Latin Art and Latin Music

Americas Society (ASCOA)

Americas Society (ASCOA)

Americas Society / Council of the Americas (ASCOA) is a forum for education, debate, and dialogue on political, social, economic, and cultural issues of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada.

It produces excellent music and arts programs in a beautifully restored Park Avenue mansion.

The audience is older, Upper East Side, academic. It’s a good place for networking with that audience.

Thank you for sponsoring opera!

About Americas Society

Americas Society was founded by David Rockefeller in 1965.

The McKim, Mead & White designed building is the restored Percy Rivington Pyne House. Rivington Pyne was the grandson of financier Moses Taylor, the merchant and banker who founded what is now Citibank.

The building was the Soviet Mission to the United Nations from 1948 to 1963.
