The 2019 Noche Argentina is at Stage 48 in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 11pm – 4am. $5
Argentinos en NY
This is a strong community of Argentines in metropolitan New York City.
Noche Argentina
Argentinos en NY hosts an occasional Noche Argentina (Argentine Night). There are a lot of young people dancing to cumbia and rock en español.
Argentina’s Rock Nacional was the beginning of rock and roll songs written in Spanish so this is the classic rock of Latin America.
One of the interesting things about Argentinos en NY is this great sense of belonging in the room.
One kind of dancing that you will only see here is this jumping in groups that we do like soccer supporters excited about a game. It’s sort of a soft punk scrum that is related to rugby play. The entire floor of the club shakes when everyone jumps together.
Una buena onda (a good vibe).
