New York Latin Culture Endorses Carlos Menchaca

We endorse Carlos Menchaca for New York City Council in the 2017 election.

The only way to stop discrimination against Latinos is for us to become engaged in the government of our country. One day we will have a Latino president of the United States. Promise.

Mexican-Americans are the largest Latin community in the United States. We will be NYC’s largest Latin community within a decade.

Carlos Menchaca is in the vanguard of us taking political power. Being openly gay enables Menchaca to be an advocate for an important New York community.

Menchaca’s core issues of immigration, jobs, and education are exactly the issues that most challenge our community.

New York Latin Culture endorses Carlos Menchaca for New York City Council.
