The Central American Independence Parade and Festival is a Honduran Garifuna parade and street fair in Crotona Park East, The Bronx on the second Sunday of September.

It celebrates Garifuna culture and Honduran Independence Day, September 15, 1821.

The event also commemorates the arson fire at the Happy Land social club, where nearly one hundred people died celebrating Carnival in 1990. Most were Honduran Garifuna.
