Global Citizen Festival Latin Headliners Include Anitta, D-Nice, Lauryn Hill and Sofia Carson

The Global Citizen Festival 2023 is a music festival in Central Park that calls for leaders to end extreme poverty through action on equity, the planet, food security and jobs, during the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

The Global Citizen Festival 2023 is on the Great Lawn in Central Park on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 4pm (Gates open 2pm). The show ends around 10pm. 🇺🇸 🇧🇷 🇨🇴

Anitta 🇧🇷

Anitta is an award-winning Brazilian singer, songwriter and actress. Popular in Brazil and Portuguese-speaking countries, she has gone global. Anitta was nominated for the “Best New Artist” Grammy in 2023.

D-Nice 🇺🇸

D-Nice is an American DJ and photographer from Harlem and The Bronx. He was most active in 1990-91. In 2020, he hosted a Instagram live dance party that drew over 100,000 viewers including many celebrities. That has really boosted his profile.

Lauryn Hill 🇺🇸

Lauryn Hill is an American rapper from New Jersey. She came up as part of The Fugees (Killing Me Softly), and had a great solo career. She rapped, but she sang too and helped the form of melodic rap get established. Like a true New Yorker, she tells it is. Ms. Hill is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the release of “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” in 1998. It’s still on our playlist.

Sofia Carson 🇨🇴

Sofia Carson is a Colombian American actress and pop singer from Florida. Active since 2012, the former Disney girl has gotten hot lately with the 2022 release of her self-titled debut studio album, and an MTV Movie & TV Award for “Best Musical Moment” with “Come Back Home” in “Purple Hearts.”

Global Citizen Festival 2023 Tickets
