House of Yes is One of New York’s Wildest Night Clubs

House of Yes is an aerial burlesque dance club run by a circus collective in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Some nights are straight ahead house parties. Some are a real circus. The Dirty Circus Variety Show is legendary. The 1980s never ended here. This club is fun. No attitude. Take off your mask and put your freak on!

About House of Yes

There is a Main Room, Onyx Room, Front Room, and an open Patio.

The 1980s never ended here. If you are looking for the good old days, they are still here. It’s very Brooklyn. It’s very Bushwick. It’s very cool. Oy vey!

There is something to be said for dancing in a packed house with hundreds of people all throbbing to the same beat. People go to dance, not just to pose. But the freaks are always around, so the dancing is great and the people watching is great. Dress the least or the most that you feel comfortable with.

The most accurate description of House of Yes is, “this isn’t a normal night club.” It’s heaven. There are two rooms and an outdoor patio where you can smoke. It is the New New York. This is a place to get your freak on. But be cool because the rule is anything goes, with permission. Only Yes means Yes. That’s why it’s the House of Yes. Yes, Yes, Yes!

Artists and Parties

Some of the DJs are legends. Some are going to be legends. They’re all great.

  • Dos Flakos are Bronx Dominican DJs. 🇩🇴
  • Dzul Dance aerial arts, contortion, acrobatics, contemporary dance led by a Javier Dzul, a real Mexican Mayan ritual dancer. 🇲🇽
  • Earth Love Fest is a house dance party, block party, and eco-festival, usually in April.
  • Eli Escobar is a Miami Puerto Rican DJ who grew up in Harlem. 🇵🇷
  • Madame Vacile is a Colombian DJ. 🇨🇴
  • Mando Sarit is a Dominican DJ. 🇩🇴
  • Pedrito Martinez is the world’s first-call Cuban rumbero. 🇨🇺
  • Rich Medina is one of the DJs who brought Fela Kuti’s afrobeat to the dance crowd. He’s Jersey-born, but found his way in Philly. He made us dance our asses off. The room felt like one giant ocean of sea grass ~ with waves. 🇺🇸
  • Rosa Perreo is a gender-inclusive virtual artist.
  • Sunny Cheeba (Uptown Vinyl Supreme) only claims The Bronx, but her “Viva Puerto Rico Libre” all vinyl live set on Soundcloud could only be Boricua. At work, we’ve replaced our coffee with Sunny Cheeba. Joy and productivity are way up. ¡WEPA! 🇵🇷
  • Ultra Violet is a Bronx Dominican DJ. She spins house, dem bow, and disco. 🇩🇴

These artists prove that love and music are universal. In their hands, we become The One.
