About José Luis Perales
Perales is a simple man from a small town in the Spanish countryside. He never sought fame. It found him.

Perales learned to play the lute when he was just six years old. He learned to play the guitar in college. Perales played some local festivals, but was just a local guy.
In 1970, he was discovered by a music producer. This changed his life. Perales first hit was 1972’s “Porque te vas” (Because you are leaving). It was sung by Jeanette. His first album “Celos de mi Guitarra” (Jealous of my Guitar) was a hit.
