Juliette Dumas ‘Angels’ French painter of nature at Silas Von Morisse

Juliette Dumas

Juliette Dumas was born in Paris, France in 1987. Dumas tries to understand what it is like to live as something other than human by painting and drawing the forms of nature.

She apprenticed in painting and drawing with La Glacière, Ateliers Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris. Dumas earned an art degree at the Diplôme National d’Art Plastique in Nice, France. She did her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

The exhibition opens with a reception at Silas Von Morisse Gallery in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Thursday, April 5 from 5 – 8 pm. The exhibition is on view Thursday – Sunday through April 29.
