Kaufman Music Center’s Merkin Hall in Manhattan’s Lincoln Square is an intimate venue for classical music, musical theatre, and family music. Kaufman Music Center is a school that develops young talent. Merkin Hall has become a place to hear what is happening now.

Kaufman Music Center was founded in 1952 as a community music school.

Merkin Hall is its performance space. The theater seats 449, and is famous for excellent acoustics.
