La Casa del Mofongo and Piano Bar 207 is a 24-hour Dominican restaurant with a piano bar early and a Dominican disco vibe with live music late in Inwood, Manhattan, up on 207th St.
The biggest Dominican stars of merengue, bachata, and dembow play there. DJ Adoni regularly spins on Saturday nights.
They serve over 30 variations of mofongo: deep-fried green plantains mashed with garlic, olive oil, and chicharrón crispy fried pork. ¡Qué bacano!
