‘L’Elisir d’Amore’ is Donizetti’s comic opera about a love potion

L’Elisir d’Amore is Gaetano Donizetti’s two-act comic opera. Felice Romani wrote the libretto.

The opera premiered at the Teatro Cannobiana in Milan, Italy in 1832. Today, it is part of the standard opera repertory.

Rush Tickets

$25 Rush tickets can be purchased at www.metopera.org the day of the show. You can buy two tickets to one performance every seven days. Rush tickets go on sale Monday – Friday at 12 noon Matinees (four hours before curtain) Saturday evenings at 2 pm
