About New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC)

Newark, New Jersey is a diverse city. It’s mostly African American and Latino. Newark’s Ironbound district is the home of Metro NYC’s largest Portuguese and Brazilian community. The food is great!

NJPAC serves the community by bringing world-class artists to town, producing its own world-class culture, and engaging the community with arts education programs, and free cultural events all over town.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center has two stages:

  • Prudential Hall seats 2,800.
  • Victoria Theater seats 500.

It’s 30 minutes to an hour by train or car from Manhattan. Ticket prices are generally less than in New York City.
